They offer a versatile and relatively inexpensive way to create extra space. Whether that’s for a home office, a guest room, a workout space/gym, a games room or even a music studio. With no architect or engineering fees and no disruption to family life, Hyggepods offer an innovative solution to our ever growing need for space.

Hyggepods are handcrafted buildings and can be designed and built to your exact requirements. With full insulation and electrics, our Garden Rooms are designed to be cool in the summer and warm in the winter. 

As standard they include multipoint UPVC doors and windows in a range of styles and colours, along with a one piece rubber roof, and are clad on all sides in your choice of cladding - providing a premium and stylish finish to your new room.

  • 6x2 Floor joists insulated with 120mm PIR board with 22mm chipboard flooring.

  • 5x2 kit panels insulated with 100mm insulation between studs, VCL, 25mm on the face of studs with 12mm plastered Gyproc finish.

  • One piece EPDM single ply roofing membrane on 18mm OSB on 100mm PIR board on 9mm OSB on 5x2 ceiling joists finished with 12mm plastered Gyproc.

  • UPVC French/Sliding doors and window to side elevation.

  • All windows and doors Anthracite grey out white in.

  • Soffit Fascia in Siberian Larch.

  • External walls fully clad in Siberian Larch with PVC cladding fixed with Stainless steel nails and treated with either OSMO UV protection oil or SiOO:X wood protector.

  • MDF Skirting.

  • Walls and ceiling skim plastered.

  • 3 double sockets, 4 downlights and 1 wall mounted electric heater.

The customer had a very clear idea of what they wanted. A chill out room with a log burning stove and a sheltered open area. They chose the stunning Abodo wood in graphite stain, bifold doors and Siberian Larch in the canopy
