Project - BURRELTON AVE

Project Description

This was a great project for our company as the family concerned were great to work for and we are pleased to hear that they are very happy with their new living conditions. The job itself was a lean-to-extension for a kitchen/ dining-room. The whole back end of the existing wall came away and steel I-beam installed to support the structure. A new kitchen was supplied and fitted; downstairs shower-room was installed. We made a few amendments to the proposed design in order to facilitate some of the customers’ requests which maximised there available space. We supplied and fitted our bi-fold patio doors from our premium door range. The customer wished for us to install a new up-stairs bathroom, re-sheet/plaster all the bedrooms and re-partition hallway.

Project - SUNNYBANK DR

Project Description

This project had the added difficulty of being right on the public footpath. This meant we had to demolish the existing structure, remove the debris and rebuild the retaining wall & steps while maintaining public right of way. We came across Gas infrastructure that needed to be moved to a new position this was done without fuss! A new 1.4m high retaining wall was built in a Staffordshire blue brick with dense concrete block to rear leaf. Smooth coping stones to cap. 18 steps are a smooth finish concrete. The existing slabs where acid cleaned and reused to form the path. Buff Cotswold chips to finish.

Project - Westerlands Ave, Netwon Mearns

Project Description

This rear extension project had two large slap through openings cut-out of the rear existing wall. This allowed us to install a large kitchen dining and living area. Two steel goal post structures where installed to transfer the existing load onto new foundations. A new Kitchen was installed with mid-island cooking and bar area. A wood burning stove was installed in the open living area creating a contemporary but homely aubieouns.
Jane and Gus are very happy with their new living space and have expressed their gratitude to our entire workforce. We would like to thank them for recommending us to several people and for their kind words. They were a great family to work for, always in good spirits and Jane always had the kettle on, which I am sure held the project back a week or two!
